Rene Russo and Rose Namajunas Bio

Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film model, actress and filmmaker. Her elegant beauty and her successes in the field of film reflect her talents as an actor. Her career began as a fashion model in the year 1970 her rise quickly to the top of the heap. She studied theatre and acting towards the beginning of the decade. She then appeared on stages in Los Angeles, and other parts of California. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1988 drama Sable in which she played Eden Kendell. She played Tom Berengers' love interest the following year in Major League, her debut film. Her initial doubts were about her ability as an actor but critics soon became convinced by her consistent work. They were most impressed with her in the film Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak where she held her ground to the point of no return against Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. However by her own admission she's never really been a passionate about acting. In 2005 she decided to go on a lengthy, self-imposed break. In the movie Thor, she returned to her acting. She also appeared in the Oscar award-winning film Nightcrawler, directed by husband. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were humorous comedies in which she starred.

Rose Namajunas ranks among the most prestigious UFC female athletes. Her career began as an amateur fighter, taking part in numerous regional promotions before registering to Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Due to her successes within and outside of the octagon, Namajunas has been known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas' family is Lithuanian who was born in Lithuania on June 29th in 1992. Rose took part in various activities as a kid, including basketball and Kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships was signed by her at age 18 and she went on to beat two opponents via submission. Dana White, who was paying close attention to her at the time, signed Rose in the UFC strawweight division in December 2014; she had just turned 22. Rose has been through highs as well as lows during her career but she always comes out with a victory. Rose took on Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Champion as well as the title of the title of Fighter of the Night. This was the first time that a female competed against a major promotion in a title fight. Namajunas was able to record many wins, including two wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
